Financial Transparency
As a 501(c)(5) nonprofit organization, we are committed to financial transparency and responsible stewardship of our resources. Membership – in the Rutherford Dust Society supports our mission to advocate for the Rutherford AVA. Dues help fund essential community programs, member events, and member services. While not tax-deductible as a charitable contribution, dues may be deductible as a business expense. Please check with your tax advisor.
Donations –While general contributions to a 501(c)(5) are typically not tax-deductible, they help us advance key initiatives. Some special funds, such as educational or scholarship programs, may qualify for tax-deductible donations. Contact us to learn more.
